Paula Bartolome

Paula graduated from the CEU-Cardenal Herrera University (Valencia, Spain) in 2018. After working in general practice, she completed her first rotating internship at the Autonomous University of Barcelona Veterinary Hospital, followed by one year working as an of out-of-hours Veterinary Surgeon.

Paula moved to the UK in 2021 and completed a second rotating internship at the Vets Now Hospital in Manchester. She then completed an orthopaedic and neurosurgery internship at Fitzpatrick Referrals. Paula joined Vets Now Glasgow in July 2023 as a surgical intern while completing her RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

Although she is interested in all aspects of small animal surgery, she particularly enjoys minimally invasive surgery, reconstructive surgery and fracture repair.
