Local directions to emergency vet Liverpool

From Maghull and Kirkby:

Head south down the M57 and exit at junction 3. Follow slip road to the roundabout and take your second exit onto A526 Seth Powell Way. Take first right onto Woolfall Heath Avenue. Vets Now is at the bottom of this road on your right.

From St Helens:

Follow the A58 towards Liverpool. Continue along the A58 through Prescot to the junction with M57. At roundabout take third exit and continue to the next roundabout, at which you go straight across and continue along the A57, Liverpool Road. Take the 5th turning on the right into Stockbridge Lane. Take first right onto Woolfall Heath Avenue. Vets Now is on your left.

From Liverpool:

From Queens Drive turn onto the A57 out of Liverpool. Before you approach the M57 turn left into Stockbridge Lane. Take first right onto Woolfall Heath Avenue. Vets Now is on your left.

What are the main signs of chocolate poisoning in dogs?

If your dog has eaten chocolate, they may:

  1. Vomit (this may include blood)
  2. Suffer diarrhoea
  3. Display restlessness and hyperactivity
  4. Have rapid breathing
  5. Muscle tension, incoordination
  6. Increased heart rate
  7. Suffer seizures

Urgent treatment may be needed if your dog ate chocolate so please contact us as soon as possible for advice
