Local Directions

From A167, Tyne Bridge, and City Centre

Follow the A167 over Tyne Bridge to Gateshead and stay on the A184.  At the roundabout by Heworth Metro interchange turn right, then turn right at mini roundabout and continue to the traffic lights with the Duke of Cumberland pub on the left. Turn right into the industrial estate and Vets Now is located on the left at the PDSA hospital.

From A1 southbound

Take and follow the A184 for Gateshead. At traffic lights turn right to roundabout. Turn left at roundabout to continue on A184. Now follow as above.

From A1 Northbound

At Washington services take A194(M). At roundabout with A184 turn left. Continue to first roundabout, turn left. Follow above.

From A19 Southbound, Tyne Tunnel

Follow A19 from tunnel to roundabout with A184, turn right along A184 until Heworth metro interchange and turn left. Now follow as above.

From A19 Northbound

At roundabout with the A184 turn left towards Gateshead. Follow along A184 until Heworth metro interchange and turn left. Now follow as above.

What are the main signs of chocolate poisoning in dogs?

If your dog has eaten chocolate, they may:

  1. Vomit (this may include blood)
  2. Suffer diarrhoea
  3. Display restlessness and hyperactivity
  4. Have rapid breathing
  5. Muscle tension, incoordination
  6. Increased heart rate
  7. Suffer seizures
