At my school, very few chose the veterinary profession. It was even rarer for someone from a minority ethnic background. You don't see a lot of people from ethnically diverse communities. It's important to change that and see people from all backgrounds.

Committed to growing our ethnic diversity veterinary community

Vets Now is the UK’s largest out-of-hours emergency veterinary care provider, with nearly 60 out-of-hours clinics across the UK as well as 24-hour hospitals in Glasgow and Manchester.

We believe in a level playing field for all in the veterinary industry, which is why we have launched our ethnic diversity scholarship scheme. Our Scholarship programme is part of our wider commitment to supporting ethnic diversity across the veterinary professions and within our business.

Successful candidates will be awarded an annual grant, mentoring from our ethnic diversity scholarship board members and a support network to help them through their studies.
