Vets Now Newport works out of one of the largest emergency hospitals in the south-west and is a non-referral 24-hour hospital. This allows the team to work up cases thoroughly and see them through to completion.

At Vets Now Newport, you will find a fully equipped and modern hospital. You will also find a well-supported and enthusiastic team, including a team of Nurses and Animal Care Assistants.

Working in this 24-hour ECC setting you will see a varied and interesting caseload which will sharpen and develop your veterinary skills.

Newport as a location is conveniently located immediately off the M4 and is within easy reach of Bristol and Cardiff. It also offers easy access to the Brecon Beacons National Park and is just an hour from the Gower Peninsula.

Work/life balance is at the forefront of the way we approach our rota planning. In this part-time role, the rota will typically include working 7 on and 14 off (1 week in 3), working the night shifts (19:00 – 07:30), plus a fair share of bank holidays.
