About the Job
Roving Veterinary Surgeon
Up to £90,000 DOE plus benefits
Now for changing environments and landscapes
Dive into the world of Emergency and Critical Care in our Barton-le-Clay and Milton Keynes clinics (High Wycombe can also be considered). As you navigate the changing landscape and diverse caseload that comes with being a Roving Vet Surgeon, you will sharpen your skills and enhance your knowledge.
Now for work-life balance
On a full-time basis, you’ll work an average of 40 hours per week, ensuring a healthy work-life balance with no more than three consecutive nights. The rota will be built sympathetically to travel time across the different clinics, and you will enjoy regular periods out of clinic, giving you ample time to maximize your time off. For individuals desiring fewer hours, part time applications are warmly welcomed.
Now for enhanced rewards and benefits
Our commitment to your wellbeing extends beyond the diverse caseload, with an exceptional benefits package which includes, but is not limited to:
- £1,500 CPD allowance plus 35 paid hours pro rata
- ECC certificate support – financial and paid study leave
- Enhanced company sick, maternity, paternity and adoption pay schemes
- Private medical insurance
- Seven weeks pro rata annual leave
- Up to 50% discounted staff pet care
- Professional membership fees
Now for innovation
Tailored for experienced Veterinary Surgeons, our two-week AdvantEdge programme offers a 80 hours of CPD, culminating in a surgical wet lab practical weekend. By blending AdvantEdge with our Roving Vet Surgeon role, you’ll not only unlock the skills needed for success but also step confidently into a thrilling ECC career.
