What is AdvantEdge?

AdvantEdge helps experienced vets transition into ECC with all the confidence they need to thrive in an emergency setting.  The programme combines a one-week, in-person practical training at our Support Office in Dunfermline and access to our e-learning platform. During the in-person week, you’ll connect with like-minded peers and learn from experienced ECC clinicians. Topics covered include CPR, POCUS, emergency surgery wet lab, and interpreting blood smears.

We recommend completing the initial 20-hour structured e-learning course within your first six months to refresh and strengthen key clinical and non-clinical skills. These hours are paid, and you’ll be supported and guided throughout to ensure successful completion.

With the practical training and e-learning combined, the programme delivers a total of 60 hours of CPD.
