Elevate your career at Vets Now Glasgow

As the UK’s leading pet emergency service our hospitals are unique to our business structure as they are operational 24/7.

We are looking for a Vet Surgeon to join our Glasgow hospital out-of-hours team, on a 9 month fixed-term contract (there may be a possibility of extension – TBC).

Now for Work/Life Balance

In this part-time role shifts will typically include working backshifts and days – this includes a mixture of shifts during the week, weekends, and a fair share of bank holidays – average of 30 hours per week.

With the shifts during the week, you would benefit from working closely with our ECC referral team.

If you are only looking for weekend work, then we could try and accommodate this. We will work with you to find a rota that fits around your lifestyle and hospital requirements.

One team, one goal

Our ethos is simple – to give people and their pets the care and support they deserve at the time they need it most and our Vet Surgeons are vital to delivering this ethos. At our Glasgow hospital you will be mentored by the Lead Vet and there is a strong support network.

A work life fulfilled

Working in an emergency 24/7 setting, you’ll see a stimulating and varied caseload and you’ll make an immediate difference to the pets you treat on every shift.

We look after you, so you can look after them

At Vets Now we recognise that our people are what makes us. That’s why we are continuing to invest in first class reward and recognition benefits and initiatives.
