Infrastructure System Administrator

Up to £45,000 DOE plus benefits

About the role:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure System Administrator to join our Technology team. Vets Now Technology is responsible for services delivered to all users across the company and servicing our external customers. The Infrastructure System Administrator position is a critical member of the team and is responsible for supporting, developing and innovating Technology Infrastructure Services.

Key Technical Responsibilities:

  • Azure Infrastructure Management
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure configuration and management
  • SQL Database management and administration
  • Desktop and server security and currency patching
  • Office365 configuration and management

Skills and Experience Required:

The role holder will need to have a strong background in administering Microsoft Azure and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure as well as a good understanding of Microsoft Office365, SQL & MECM. A good understanding of ITIL processes and functions is also desirable.

The Technology team are currently hybrid working with four days a week at home and one day in our Support Office in Dunfermline. The role holder has the option of working from home five days a week, however, you will need to be able to travel to Dunfermline occasionally, or potentially to other sites. Typical working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
