Remote with travel to our offices when required

Vets Now is proud to have helped revolutionise the provision of emergency and critical care (ECC). We partner with local veterinary practices to provide their clients with a dedicated out-of-hours service. At the heart of this is a team of full-time vets, vet nurses, and support staff who only work at nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

We are currently seeking an experienced recruitment lead to join our team. Within this role, you will help shape our recruitment strategy, and manage a team of experienced Talent Specialists, while also balancing your own vacancy portfolio.

The Veterinary market is challenging and ever evolving, making it essential for our Lead Talent Partner to be proactive in developing attraction strategies, and work closely with our Employer Brand team.

Your Role:

As a Lead Talent Partner, you will be crucial to our success. Your responsibilities will include:

– Successful track record in recruitment, whether from an agency or in-house background.

– Previous management experience

– Coaching and mentoring experience in a recruitment setting.

– Strong candidate management, negotiation, and influencing skills.

– Ability to collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders, implementing successful recruitment strategies and addressing issues promptly.

– Commercial awareness and the ability to prioritise workload based on business needs.

– Self-motivated, team-oriented, and positive approach to problem-solving.

– Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.

– In-depth understanding of modern demand/attraction/selection methodologies..
