Bright at Night – Give your dog walk a glow up!

Many of us are restricted to walking our dogs in low light due to a range of commitments. As it gets darker in the mornings and evenings, it’s important to take precautions to ensure everyone stays safe.

Keep your dog safe

• Keep your dog on a short lead.
• If your dog wears a jacket, consider a reflective one.
• Have a light-up collar or clip-on LED lights.

Keep yourself safe

• Stick to familiar walking routes.
• Remember to take your phone.
• Wear bright clothing.
• Walk with others if possible.
• Carry a torch or wear a head torch.
