This is great opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team in Stoke on Trent. This part time position would allow you to fully utilize your nursing skills in an Out of Hour setting. You would be fully supported in consolidating and increasing your preexisting knowledge.

Role Summary
A Vets Now Vet Nurse is a pivotal role within the emergency team, by assisting the Veterinary Surgeon in: surgery, anaesthesia and clinical procedures this hands on role will give you the opportunity to grow your clinical skills. Your role will be further supported by our regular On-Site Training Programme, ensuring that both your ECC knowledge and your career are continually growing.

Working as Veterinary Nurse in our emergency clinic will provide you with an interesting and stimulating work environment. Your nursing role will involve supporting clients with help and advice under the direction of the duty Vet. Also, you will provide nursing care to critical and hospitalised patients, including: clinical monitoring, drug administration, nursing management and excellent client care.

Role Requirements

You must be: fully qualified, RCVS registered and have at least 6 months experience in small animal practice which must have been in an English speaking environment. You should also be comfortable working sole charge and be confident in your clinical ability.

Clinic Description
Vets Now Stoke has recently moved to new premises in Longton, which have been refurbished and extended to provide wonderful facilities, including new isolation ward and spacious kennelling. You'll find the Vets Now Stoke team a deligth to work with. They are extremely pasionate about emergency work and very supportive of ongoing learning and development. The clinic treats a manageable emergency caseload using the latest equipment and enjoyrs great working relationships with local member practices.

Working Pattern
Shift times are a share of: Monday to Friday nights from 6pm to 9am, Saturday night 6pm-9am and Sunday night 6pm to 9am), plus a share of weekend day shifts (Saturdays 12noon-6pm, Sundays 9am-6pm) and your share of bank holidays.
