Kelly our current Veterinary Nurse is moving up to become Senior Veterinary Nurse so we now have a vacancy in this great Northolt team for a hands-on emergency Veterinary Nurse.
Roles Summary
Working in a Vets Now clinic will give you the opportunity to be the nurse you trained to be – you’ll enjoy a hands-on role treating a varied caseload, where no two shifts are quite the same! As part of a small team (working alongside a sole charge vet and a receptionist) you’ll provide nursing care for small animal emergency patients including clinical monitoring, drug administration, and hospitalised cases. You’ll also assist the veterinary surgeon with anaesthesia, surgery and clinical procedures.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your career. Our nurses are supported and encouraged to exercise and develop their skills by taking on schedule 3 procedures, plus you’ll benefit from unrivalled investment in your clinical skills and CPD, alongside the support network and equipment you require to deliver the highest standards of clinical and client care.
Working Pattern
As a full time Veterinary Nurse you would cover approximately 43 clinic hours per week, working an average of just 3 night shifts per week and a share of weekend days plus a share of public holidays.
We would consider both Full Time and Part Time for this position.
Shift Times are a share of: Nights, Monday to Sunday 6pm to 9am, weekend days on Saturday 12 noon to 6pm and Sunday 9am to 6pm along with occasional back shifts and bank holidays (hours vary).
